CMS is made up of Department of Defense Vehicles, Aerospace Products & Defense Group and Weapon systems. Below are the main responsibilities of the Strategic Sourcing Analyst: Responsibilities The ideal candidate will mainly be responsible for identifying, qualifying and onboarding global suppliers with consideration of achieving the Sectors offset targets and other business objectives. The candidate will need to demonstrate technical capability in order to communicate effectively with design / component engineering on quality improvement topics and cost reduction / design change opportunities both internally and within the supply base. Candidates will also need to exhibit good interpersonal skills in order to grow supplier relationships in order to support our business needs.In this job, you will:Identify and collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to introduce new and innovative technologies and processes to improve margins and service delivery.Monitor and evaluate global markets trends, intervene to manage/mitigate the impact of supply shortfalls or price adjustments, or market opportunities.
