DescriptionPosition Summary:This position is responsible for handling all aspects of wire transfer activity and being backup to ACH Operations for processing of ACH files. Also, providing quality customer service to branch personnel & customers with wire questions, inquires & issues.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Wire Transfers:Process incoming/outgoing domestic & international wires via Directline Wire automation system for branch, mortgage & cash management customers.Originate/verify wires using 1st TN online system or any other corresponding bankReceive / post incoming internal & international wires from 1st TNMonitoring the Fed Account for sufficient balance purposes throughout the day in order to fund wiresProcess drawdown wire requestsAssist with branch & customer research request/inquiries/issues related to wiresBackup for performing wire system end of day shutdownAssist with wire system yearly DR testingPerform related duties as assigned by supervisorOnline Banking - Cash Management customers:Backup for the setup of Wire Cash Management customers with wire accessMisc:Backup for processing foreign draftsBackup for handling some of Supervisor duties when absentComplete in-house training required by department & bank's training programQualifications:Good organizational & communication skillsEducation and /or Experience High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required Preferred 1+ years of banking experience Experience in handling confidential information Experience in the use of database, Excel, and Word softwareFirstBank does not accept unsolicited resumes from agencies and staffing firms.
