Summary

The NPD Project Support Specialist will be responsible for providing project management support to the coordination team and the NPD Program Manager, including documentation management and general administrative functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/FUNCTIONS:

Provide clerical support to the New Product Development team.

Assist the New Product Development team in the maintenance of the internal database and ERP system.

Assist in the organization of project meetings, including agenda and minute preparation.

Work with Project Coordinators in the creation of accurate BOMs.

Process RFQ and Quote data and ensure incoming quotes match BOM information and product specifications.

Organize incoming engineering change requests and relay information to the Engineering Coordinator.

Update process documents and SOPs as needed or directed.

Create and update quality control documentation.

Maintain document database for quick reference.

Maintain project budget information.

Assist Project Coordinators with purchase order creation.

Liaison with stakeholders regarding project status (deliverables, assets, etc.).

Additional duties as required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Minimum of an Associates degree in a related field of study (i.e. Business, Project Management, Office Management) or equivalent experience required.

Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing administrative setting or a related environment preferred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, i.e. Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerApps, PowerPoint, etc.

Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills.

Able to create visual imagery/diagrams to explain feedback and intent to non-native English-speaking partners.

Ability to handle and prioritize multiple high priority projects in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Able to travel up to 10% of the time, sometimes with very little notice.

Must be trustworthy with highly confidential information and materials.

Education/Experience EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
