In the tri-state area, residents can choose the state with the best financial benefits.What You'll DoAs an Assistant Plant Manager at Nucor Tubular Products in Cedar Springs, you will serve as a bridge between the leadership and frontline supervisors. Your focus will be ensuring the department operates safely, efficiently, and profitability while focusing on strategic planning, resource allocation, and achieving long-term goals. You will oversee a product line department that has around 30 - 40 teammates and manage a revenue under supervision of about $80 million dollars. Uphold a strong safety culture and demonstrate that safety is your #1 value Lead efforts to continuously improve safety, quality, cost, reliability, productivity, and profitability See how day to day operations can be optimized to achieve long-term strategy goals and initiatives Be responsible for developing and coaching effective leaders by providing regular and constructive feedback Determine which operational goals need to be achieved to drive continuous improvement and commercial excellence Leading organization-wide continuous improvement by setting SMART goals and creating innovative business solutions Drive profitability by optimizing the production process to achievement high value through low costs What You'll Need: A strong work-ethic and can-do attitude The willingness to learn the industry.
