As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the plant, ensuring the production of high-quality products, and driving business growth through process improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement manufacturing plans, policies, and programs to improve quality, delivery time, and cost efficiency.
- Lead and manage a team of production supervisors, hourly manufacturing personnel, and administrative resources to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices, including ISO 9001 and Six Sigma systems, to achieve manufacturing excellence.
- Monitor production output and quality data to drive continuous improvement and process optimization.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with employees, customers, and suppliers to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Develop and manage the plant operating budget, prepare and analyze profit and loss statements, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
- Recommend and implement capital equipment purchases and plant expansions to support business growth and expansion.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including safety and environmental regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business.
- Minimum of years of progressive hands-on manufacturing management experience with profit and loss responsibility.
- Prior experience with lean manufacturing, ISO 9001, and Six Sigma systems is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and empower a team to achieve business objectives.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, as required.
