What You'll DoAs an Assistant Plant Manager at Nucor Tubular Products in Cedar Springs, you will serve as a bridge between the leadership and frontline supervisors. Your focus will be ensuring the department operates safely, efficiently, and profitability while focusing on strategic planning, resource allocation, and achieving long-term goals. You will oversee a product line department that has around 30 - 40 teammates and manage a revenue under supervision of about $80 million dollars.

- The willingness to learn the industry. Prior experience in Electroplating/EGV/HDG operations is a plus, but not a requirement.
- 7 years of demonstrated experience managing and leading others
- 2 to 4 years in operations, maintenance, industrial, or manufacturing setting
- Bachelor’s degree in math, science, or engineering is preferred
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule that can include 60+ hour work weeks – days and night shift included
- Proficiency at creating excel spreadsheets
- Proficiency in developing and presenting PowerPoint presentations
- Willingness to relocate is a plus
