Responsibilities: Overall facilities coordination for Chicago headquarters and other office locations currently 30 throughout US and Canada, and growing). Supervision of a small facilities management team. Oversight of space planning. Management of building security systems. Coordinate staff and equipment moves. Contract negotiation, procurement management and oversight of facility services (security, movers, housekeeping, offsite storage, etc.) Timely response to emergencies and non-emergency problems. Resolution of facility repairs and other issues. Interface with building management to ensure timely communication of conditions impacting work environment. Qualifications: We do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position. Qualifications: Bachelor of Architecture, Interior Design, or related equivalent with ten (10) or more years of experience in the facilities management field. Manage a small team. Understand when office lease provisions are no longer adequate for company needs. Respond quickly to resolve office issues. Work well with contractors, vendors, and trades. Manage and configure security systems. Routinely handle confidential information. Minimize conflict when resolving space or facility issues. Routinely travel to office locations as necessary. Interface with building management for coordination, access, and issues resolution. Familiarity with AutoCAD for space and/or furniture layout a plus.
