**The Role** As a Verification Service & Support Specialist, you will multitask in a fast-paced environment, serving our customers quickly through efficient document verification and underwriting. If you are looking to boost your skills on the operations side of home lending, join our team + Provide exceptional service and support to HELOC customers via verbal and written communication

+ Able to manage a pipeline and ensure timely processing of loan/line of credit files

+ Evaluate the accuracy of borrower documentation

+ Calculate income using pay stubs, W2 and tax returns

+ Assess loan attributes and documentation for soundness and accuracy

+ Validate data and as needed, support reporting needs and reviewing for accuracy

+ Ability to interpret and apply required policies and procedures

+ Ensure adherence to required regulations and work under supervision of a manager

+ **Currently hold an active mortgage loan officer license (NMLS/MLO)**

+ 6 months 2 years experience in the financial or mortgage industry preferred but not required (consumer, small business, credit card)

+ Ability to work independently

+ Detail-oriented and accurate

+ Organized and able to multi-task

+ Excellent phone and email etiquette

+ Must be flexible and ready to work in a dynamic production environment

+ Excellent communicate skills, both verbally and written

+ Professional, proactive and solution-oriented

**Preferred Skills/Experience**

+ Personal Banking, Home Preservation, Loss Mitigation experience a plus

+ Working knowledge of relevant consumer lending compliance and risk management

+ BA/BS degree or higher in related field a plus but not required

+ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

+ Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

+ Independent thinker and self-starter

+ Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Salesforce

+ Willingness to work a shift between Monday through Saturday
