About the Role: G2 is hiring a Content Marketing Associate. In this role, you will report to the Head of Marketing and work closely with our industry and product teams to produce a wide range of content. This is a great chance to join a dynamic team at a growth-minded firm Candidates should have a deep understanding of digital marketing channels (direct email, website, social, etc.) and use of content types (long vs. short form, written vs. audio/visual, etc.) to optimize audience engagement and drive lead generation.

What You’ll Do: Produce high-quality written and visual content including ideation, drafting, editing, and distribution across various platforms to drive thought leadership, lead generation, brand awareness and business development. Focus areas include short and long-form white papers, email, industry newsletters, survey reports, blog & social posts, PPC ad campaigns, SEO optimization, infographics, videos, podcasts, etc. Support the development and execution of the content marketing strategy and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify content needs across channels. Interact with internal stakeholders, including product and industry team leaders, to gather information and data for creation of intentional content to support go-to-market strategies. Manage the targeted distribution of deliverables to specific audiences or market segments across a variety of digital marketing channels. Stay on top of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to position the company as a leader. Track omnichannel KPIs and analyze metrics in real-time to measure effectiveness and inform G2’s content strategy.

What We Look For: 5-7 years in communications, marketing or journalism. Investment Banking / M&A exposure a plus. Consulting/Marketing

Agency experience supporting clients in financial services a plus. Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for a diverse audience. Strong understanding of SEO best practices and content funnel performance analytics. Experience leading projects for senior leadership, maintaining deadlines and balancing multiple fast-paced projects. Experience monitoring and reporting on performance metrics and making data-driven suggestions to amplify content reach and generate targeted leads. Experience with Google Analytics, LI Campaign Manager, WordPress, SEMrush (or similar) Salesforce, SEO, UX.
