Responsibilities include reviewing approved vendor invoices and check requests for correct coding, processing invoices for payment, maintaining vendor files, monthly and quarterly reporting, filing IRS-required reports, training and assisting other team members as required and developing procedures for effective accounts payable processing.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
  • Reviewing check requests and invoices verifying the correct coding and approval levels
  • Monthly review of corporate credit card purchases, verifying correct general ledger coding
  • Accurately perform and complete month-end close journal entries
  • Responsible for various general ledger account reconciliations and analysis.
  • Review and analyze monthly expenses to ensure expenses are accurately recorded in the general ledger and complete for month-end financial reporting.
  • Annual 1099 reporting to the IRS and states
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
  • 2-4 years of accounts payable and accounting experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables & V-Lookups
  • Strong sense of urgency with meeting deadlines as well as the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • This role requires onsite attendance and periodic overtime.
