Review time sheets, work charts, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies. · Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments. · Issue and record adjustments to pay, related to previous errors or retroactive increases. · Monitor paid time off for employees and make adjustments if needed. · Keep informed about changes in minimum wage, tax, and deduction laws that apply to the payroll process. · Data entry, including but not limited to: direct deposit, tax, payroll, accruals and time card corrections. · Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

High school diploma. · Associates degree with emphasis on business or bookkeeping. Qualifications/Training: · Multi-state payroll processing experience preferred. · Federal and state tax knowledge preferred. · Intermediate to advanced knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. · Previous experience with Kronos is helpful, but not required. · Must be detail-oriented and remain focused in a noisy and fast-paced environment. · Excellent ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, employees, and external customers. · Ability to handle highly confidential information. · Must be able to prioritize and adhere to deadlines
