M1 is looking for a(n) Aircraft Logs and Records Technician
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Maintains aircraft and engine logbooks and associated records.
* Proficient performing all operator, data entry and retrieval functions associated with aircraft
recordkeeping.
* Performs networking functions between individual stations, including analysis and correction of
errors caused by software, hardware, or data entry.
* Transmits and receives data via floppy disk, modem, and other electronic means.
* Extracts data, formulates and interprets management reports, creates archives, backups, and data
saves in support of military deployments and detachment operations.
* Performs a wide range of clerical and administrative duties related to aircraft maintenance, such as
preparing reports and correspondence, filing, and typing, performing data base and systems analysis.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum Qualifications
* High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
* Thorough understanding of DOD aircraft maintenance processes preferred.
* Must have a working knowledge of computers (input/extract data).
* Must speak, read, write, and understand English.
* Obtain/maintain security clearance, DOD CAC privileges, and Special Access Badge requirements.
* Must be able to work days, nights, and weekends as required.
* Current valid U.S. Driver's License.
* Ability to travel
* Must be willing and able to deal with the customer and company employees in a courteous and
professional manner.
* Must be able to meet any Government/Company licensing/qualification requirements for the position.
* U.S. Navy Aviation Maintenance Administration man (AZ) "A" School or three (3) years relevant
military experience
* Must be able to work flexible schedule as required.
* Able to travel in support of detachment operations as required.
* Eligible for Common Access Card (CAC)
* Desired Qualifications:
* Configuration Management for Organizational and Intermediate Activities Course(C-555-0059)
* Support Equipment Configuration Management Course (C-555-0057)
* ALSS Configuration Management Course (C-555-0056)
* Training in USN 4790 Logs and Records
* Minimum 2 year of related experience in Logs and Records for Military Aviation.
* Experience with automated maintenance record systems: NALCOMIS, OOMA, IMDS, and NAMIS -
highly desired.
* U.S. Navy or U.S. Air Force maintenance administration course graduate - preferred
Working Conditions:
* Environment ranges from office to hangar and flight line and requires extensive climbing, standing,
stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
