**Job Title: Heavy Equipment Technician**

**Job Summary**
Aerotek is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing issues in diesel engines, as well as performing preventative maintenance on heavy equipment.

**Key Responsibilities**
Diagnose and repair issues in diesel engines
Perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment, including dozers, excavators, and heavy haul trucks
Perform welding or fabrication tasks on equipment as necessary
Prepare work orders and order parts
Fuel equipment and maintain daily log
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and meet other housekeeping needs

**Requirements**
Ability to troubleshoot and repair diesel engines and heavy equipment
Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms, legs, and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
