Position Overview: Our clients are currently seeking a System Director, Infection Control for our growing Quality team, which includes responsibility for 4 hospitals and dozens of outpatient sites in some of the most desirable suburbs of Chicago. This is a full-time position and is benefits eligible. Hours will be scheduled on the day shift, with 24/7 accountability. Responsibilities: Have 24 hours accountability for the operational and strategic functions within several departments. Interact daily with numerous ancillary and support departments, physicians, and administrators across a complex organization to create a fluid system for the delivery of safe surgical patient care. Be a part of the administrative leadership team within the corporation, play a key role in the development of programs and service initiatives, marketing and promotion within the community, fiscal planning, quality improvement and Human Resources functions. Partner closely with the Chief Nursing and Quality Officer to ensure nursing, quality, and safety goals are established and met. Qualifications: Clinical Background; RN License preferred. Masters degree in healthcare or related field required. Five to ten years combined and progressive management experience in Infection Control required. The ability to thrive in a Matrix-ED health system organization preferred. Excellent communication skills required.
