This position is responsible for maintaining a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors by performing custodial services according to current infection control standards.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure a clean and organized environment by performing daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Restock and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as floor buffers and vacuum cleaners.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on infection control standards and best practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in custodial services or a related field preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
