JK & Co. Jewelers has been a cornerstone in Santa Monica since 2015. We're currently seeking a sharp and experienced Fine Jewelry Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team. At JK & Co. Job Title: Fine Jewelry Sales Specialist
Pay Range: Competitive base rate of $22.00 per hour, plus additional commission and team-based bonuses
Type of Position: Part Time - With the opportunity to move to Full Time
Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm, Thursday - Saturday
Location: Santa Monica, California
Job Description:
Key responsibilities include:
- Customer Service: Address client inquiries and concerns promptly through active communication, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the companys products and services to effectively present and explain their benefits to clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other company members in a collaborative team environment to align sales strategies and ensure client satisfaction.
- Client Acquisition and Retention: Identify and engage potential clients, build strong relationships, and maintain a pipeline of prospects to meet sales targets.
- Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and pricing with clients to secure sales and close deals effectively.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions. Provide regular reports and updates to management on sales performance and pipeline status.
- Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up communications to ensure client satisfaction, handle post-sale issues, and explore opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Goal Achievement: Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the sales department.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years minimum of experience working in the fine jewelry industry
- An enthusiastic team player who is self-motivated with excellent people skills
- Ability to easily interact with various types of personalities
- Confident communicator across all relevant methods (verbal and written)
- Highly organized multitasker comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work autonomously, requiring no prompting to drive productivity
- Successful completion of a background check
