Job Description: Account Manager

Overview: As an Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing relationships with key clients in the construction industry. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure client satisfaction and drive business growth by understanding client needs, coordinating with internal teams, and delivering construction solutions that meet project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
    • Serve as the main point of contact and build a trusted advisor relationship with key client stakeholders.
    • Understand client project requirements and objectives; propose solutions that align with their needs.
    • Ensure timely and successful delivery of construction projects according to client specifications.
  • Account Management:
    • Develop strategic account plans to achieve growth targets and expand business opportunities within existing clients.
    • Identify new project opportunities and collaborate with sales teams to pursue them.
    • Monitor account performance and conduct regular reviews to assess client satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability and project success.
  • Collaboration and Coordination:
    • Coordinate closely with internal teams (e.g., Project Managers, Engineers, Estimators) to ensure seamless project execution.
    • Communicate client feedback and project requirements internally to optimize service delivery.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve project issues and inquiries promptly.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare detailed reports on account status, including project timelines, budgets, and forecasts.
    • Analyze project data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
    • Utilize project management software and CRM systems (e.g., Procore) to maintain accurate records and manage client information effectively.
  • Customer Service Excellence:
    • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and responsiveness to client needs.
    • Address project challenges promptly and professionally, ensuring solutions are implemented effectively.
    • Strive to exceed client expectations by delivering high-quality construction services and solutions.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or similar role within the construction industry.
  • Deep understanding of construction project management processes and practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and client accounts simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Problem-solving skills and strategic thinking ability.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Working Conditions:
  • This role will be Hybrid with visits to the office, construction sites, and client meetings (as required).
  • Fast-paced environment requiring flexibility and adaptability to meet project deadlines.
  • May involve occasional travel to attend industry events or visit client locations.
