Job Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of the accounting department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • QuickBooks: Utilize QuickBooks for daily accounting tasks, including data entry, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and assist in the filing of company taxes, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Vendor Payments: Manage and process vendor payments, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Reporting: Generate regular financial reports for management, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making.
  • Inventory System Management: If familiar, utilize PCMRP to track supplies and vendor information, integrating data into QuickBooks for streamlined inventory management.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in QuickBooks.
    • Experience with tax preparation and reporting.
    • Familiarity with PCMRP or similar inventory management systems is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Schedule
  • Part-time position requiring availability 3 days a week.
