REPORTS TO : Director of Marketing Operations POSITION TYPE : Full-Time, Exempt GENERAL HOURS : Varies GENERAL DESCRIPTION : Actively pursue and manage sales and marketing functions of assigned brand to achieve the sales, distribution, and profit objectives of the company. Assume overall responsibility for brand development for defined suppliers. RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES

(this is not all-inclusive): • Develop annual business plans for assigned suppliers, including volume and gross profit goals, and local tactical spending. • Develop an understanding of local trends, sales factors, and brand traits. • Ensure that the products, services, and product lines that fall under their brand resonate with current and potential customers. • Support the Sales and Marketing manager to develop, recommend, and lead the execution of the marketing strategy as well as manage the effective deployment of the marketing budget. • Provide ongoing collaboration, creative input, and design projects with internal and external partners. • Work with suppliers to develop new product introductions • Monitor sales and marketing programs to make sure goals are achieved. • Meet with supplier representatives to plan and review programming per supplier rules of engagement. • Review distribution trends by brand and package, working with sales groups and suppliers to develop distribution goals by channel. • Develop and make presentations to key customers as assigned. • Perform all other duties assigned. • Coordinate with Key account managers to meet and present new monthly programs to key retailers. • Strategically plan and coordinate monthly/Quarterly price postings to leverage in-store promotions and advantageous sales positioning. GENERAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES • Communicate and cooperate with all departments of the company to ensure the smooth operation of the company as a whole. • Maintain a positive relationship with all customers, co-employees, and management. • Maintain appropriate dress and personal appearance. • Know, understand, and adhere to all company policies and procedures. • Promote company goodwill in all areas, assist others and perform tasks as appropriate and/or necessary to help maintain the positive image of Capital Distributing in the market. • Complete all assigned training in a timely manner. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS : • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred • At least 2 years of sales experience required • Strong computer and technical skills • Must be organized and able to prioritize • Capable of strategic thinking and planning • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : • Must be able to drive, sit or stand for extended periods of time • Must be able to lift, push or pull 25 to 50 lbs • Must be able to twist and reach overhead • Must be able to crawl and/or climb a ladder
