Summary The Notice of Action (NOA) Operations Lead oversees the NOA team member’s daily workflow which is essential to successfully writing, processing, and submitting NOA letters to our patients and providers with a focus on statutory and regulatory requirements. The Notice of Action (NOA) Operations Lead reports directly to the Supervisor of UM Delegation Oversight under the guidance of the Senior Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities · Prioritize, schedule, and communicate assignments daily with the NOA team · Provide NOA training and feedback where it is determined necessary · Monitor letter compliance with MPM/UM policies and procedures and regulatory standards (i.e., CMS, NCQA) to maintain Notice of Action letter compliant with: o Letter template accuracy o Language accuracy o Grade-level literacy o Provider and member notification timeliness · Schedule, plan, and lead team meetings · Onboard new team members and subsequent training needed · Monitor daily time and attendance · Track behaviors and share inconsistent or incorrect NOA letters to leadership for possible escalation · Report day-to-day operations and the impact of daily challenges for supervisor review · Assist in special projects and compliance audit inquiries and research · Provide coverage, as needed · Perform other duties as assigned · Participate and attend leadership and team meetings

Minimum Job Requirements · High school diploma or GED equivalent · 2+ years of experience in the healthcare

industry/utilization

management · 1+ year of experience in a leadership role · Knowledge of NCQA Standards, DMHC, DHCS, and CMS regulatory requirements · Knowledge of medical terminology · Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Word and Excel · Proficiency in EZ-CAP a plus

Skill and Abilities · Strong organizational, task prioritization, and delegation skills · Ability to multi-task while remaining adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment · Strong written and verbal communication skills
