Summary:

Trusted Staffe is partnering with a leading healthcare provider in Owings Mills, MD, to identify an experienced and results-driven Director of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM). This position is responsible for the integrated oversight and management of revenue cycle activities for assigned partner companies, ensuring optimal billing and cash flow. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in business, accounting, finance, or healthcare administration and experience with DME/HME billing.

Responsibilities:

  • Intake, Billing, AR Management:
    • Direct and manage teams responsible for intake, billing, collections, and AR functions.
    • Establish and implement processes to achieve Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
    • Monitor performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
    • Ensure timely and accurate intake, claims submission, follow-up, and payment posting.
    • Oversee patient collections and adjustment activities.
  • Operations Oversight:
    • Provide operational oversight, technical support, and guidance to partner accounts based on the SLA tier.
    • Use data-driven approaches to support leadership decisions and achieve best practice outcomes.
    • Assess and recommend staffing levels for both current and outstanding work.
    • Evaluate vendor performance, KPI achievement, and contract compliance.
    • Direct day-to-day operations to achieve goals.
    • Collaborate with IS or technical teams to address work requests and resolve issues.
  • Fiscal Management:
    • Monitor revenue cycle performance and its impact on partner financial goals.
    • Develop and implement strategies to maximize collections and achieve budget expectations.
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls over accounts receivables and cash receipt functions.
    • Stay abreast of regulatory changes and ensure compliance.
    • Prepare and distribute financial reports and KPIs.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    • Provide access to high-quality data and analysis.
    • Facilitate access to reports and dashboards for revenue cycle functions.
    • Monitor KPIs and convene stakeholders for intervention when necessary.
  • Customer Service:
    • Model excellent customer service behavior and exceed customer expectations.
    • Seek feedback from key stakeholders through regular meetings.
    • Be approachable, and responsive, and communicate effectively with all levels of staff.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in business, accounting, finance, or healthcare administration.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in revenue cycle management.
  • Experience with DME/HME billing preferred.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
