Overview:

Join our dynamic team at an International Robotics Manufacturer as the sole Accounting Staff member in the US office, reporting directly to the CFO based in Europe. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of a global company, taking charge of diverse responsibilities including financial operations, tax compliance, and human resource functions.

Responsibilities:

Month End Close:

Perform month-end closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Bank Account Reconciliations:

Reconcile bank statements to maintain accurate financial records.

Multistate Sales & Use Tax:

Oversee the completion of Multistate Sales & Use tax compliance (outsourced).

Expense Reporting:

Manage and review employee expense reports for compliance with company policies.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Handle end-to-end Accounts Payable and Receivable processes.

Human Resource Functions:

Assist with hiring processes, including onboarding new employees.

Manage benefits enrollment and serve as a point of contact for employee queries.

Interface with ADP for payroll tax completion.

Collaboration:

Participate in weekly accounting department video meetings.

Engage in daily interactions with the CFO for seamless communication.

Collaborate with international accounting staff for global consistency.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Preferred

A minimum of 7 years of Accounting Experience

Experience with a multinational company a plus

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Familiarity with ADP for payroll tax completion a plus

Sales & Use Tax knowledge a plus

Excellent organizational and communication skills.
