Responsibilities Supervise the operations of the front desk to ensure optimal service and hospitality. Train, direct, resolve issues, and coach front desk team members. Resolve customer issues and complaints efficiently to maintain high customer satisfaction. Complete established check-in procedures for guests and facilitate guest departures. Calculate and post guest accounts and other forms of credit accurately. Answer inquiries from potential guests and accept reservations using suggestive selling techniques. Maintain good customer relations by being knowledgeable about in-house and area functions. Operate PBX equipment, assist outgoing calls, and schedule wake-up calls. Control cash transactions and maintain responsibility for personal bank as per hotel policy. Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Education/Formal Training High school education or equivalent experience. Experience 1 or more years of employment experience in a related position. Knowledge/Skills Understanding of hotel front office procedures; high school graduate level mathematical aptitude; experience in customer service; knowledge of hotel policies; ability to communicate information effectively; proficiency with computers and cash handling. Physical Demands Ability to communicate frequently in person and on the phone; read written communications; excellent speech communication skills; continuous standing; lifting up to 50 lbs. of guest luggage; prolonged standing in a climate-controlled environment.
