Territory Sales Manager Job Summary
We are seeking a Territory Sales Manager to be responsible for implementing the sales process into local prospects and opportunities, account identification and planning, and prospecting strategy.
Territory Sales Manager Responsibilities
Create and understand the company’s core verticals and market to produce and maintain quality predications of the company’s sales funnel
Achieve goals accordingly while communicating with support team members
Oversee complex agreement discussions to ensure possible solutions meet client needs and organizing major opportunities
Assist in leading the principal customer activities for a sizable and growing group of clients who are in line with the basic objectives and business plan
Analyze and select target accounts that are included in the municipal, state, and commercial target accounts
Analyze the prospect's unique characteristics that connect with the company's value proposition and build / customize an account plan and outreach strategy to persuade the prospect to accept meetings
Refine the goal list and create account plans for each account based on their equipment requirements, budgets, and decision-making cycles
Make appointments and successfully qualify prospects
Prioritize and carry out prospecting, pipeline development, active opportunities, and the onboarding of new clients with creativity and haste in order to accomplish revenue goals
Provide market knowledge and hold yourself accountable to sales targets
Ensure that materials are correct, up to date, and persuasive by collaborating and supporting marketing and sales admin operations with feedback on collateral, sales tools, training, prospect messaging, and templates
Develop your skills in creating quotations for clients, as well as in determining the key performance indicators for each opportunity
Territory Sales Manager Requirements
3 years experience in Heavy Equipment Sales required
Proficient in CRM Software, and Sales Enablement Tools
Experience in selling equipment with large value sales using long sales cycles
Basic skills such as strong communication, negotiation skills, and problem solving skills
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
