The Business Development Representative (BDR) will be responsible for sales and business development, building solid relationships with prospects, customers, partner organizations, and sales and marketing teams, with a goal of identifying and closing profitable business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Consistently meet or exceed activity and revenue goals.

Identify and qualify potential clients through market research, cold outreach, and other lead generation methods.

Respond promptly to requests from the company’s Sales Development Representatives (SDRs).

Further develop Sales Qualified Leads delivered through marketing campaigns, conferences, and advertising campaigns to full potential and to convert to closed sales. through

Ability to engage in compelling conversations to showcase the company’s cybersecurity and compliance services and solutions.

Attending conferences, meetings, and trade shows with a view to securing quality leads and creating buzz for the company brand.

Set up and host company booths at sponsored events. Assist in event planning and educating potential clients of the company’s services. Networking is mandatory.

Use HubSpot daily and document management tools to follow company procedures to conduct, record and track activity, and create and send proposals to potential clients. Expediently and consistently follow up with potential clients on proposals sent, with the goal of closing sales.

Build and maintain relationships with assigned existing clients. Participate in account planning of past and current clients.

Introduce and cross-sell services to existing clients.

Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes.

Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Candidate will preferably be based in South Florida.

Minimum of three years related experience preferred.

Ability to attend networking events, on occasion, after normal business hours.

Availability to travel on behalf of the company.

Proven track record in business development and sales of cybersecurity and compliance services highly preferred.

An understanding of sales and relationship methodologies.

Ability to work well in a team and a commitment to consistent communication, excellence, and high standards.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Process-driven and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Goal-oriented with a focus on results and revenue generation.

Self-motivated, able to multitask effectively and interface with all levels of management.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Internet research.

Ability to grasp new tools such as the HubSpot CRM, document management tools, and other sales solutions.
