The Role and What You'll Do:

The primary responsibility of this role is to leverage relationship-building skills to create meaningful connections with hiring managers throughout the company and identify the best candidates to fill vacancies. The position supports business objectives by proactively sourcing, assessing, and recruiting candidates for positions throughout the company using various sources and techniques while knowing the best channels to find and reach candidates in diverse talent pools. This position works as a member of the HR department and part of the overall department objectives and priorities.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Own a full-cycle recruiting requisition load of 15-30 requisitions at any given time, focused on the College Travel Operations division and hiring for other varied departments as needed.
  • Work with Campus Travel Operations regional managers and a variety of On Location hiring managers to assess needs and develop a recruiting plan/strategy in support of talent initiatives to ensure an exceptional hiring experience.
  • Post job openings and creatively generate a pipeline of qualified candidates for open positions using a variety of recruiting methods and resources, focusing on diverse pipelines and creative candidate recruiting strategies.
  • Manage the candidate selection/interview process to ensure a best-in-class hiring experience for each the candidate.
  • Ensure candidates embody the mission, vision and values of the company.
  • Partner with the HR and Diversity and Inclusion Teams to assist in initiatives around sourcing strategies and the creation of an inclusive interview experience.
  • Attend area Career Fairs to promote the company, build relationships with university partners, and attract talent.
  • Build new and upkeep existing job descriptions for all roles.
  • Promote HR and cultural programs and initiatives to drive enhanced employee satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the HR team to develop annual goals and objectives for the department.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws and regulations.
You Have These:
  • 2+ years of solid corporate recruiting experience required.
  • Well-organized, self-motivated and positive attitude.
  • ATS system experience, and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proven track record of managing multiple high-touch hiring managers, repetitive requisitions, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with recruiting trends.
  • Detail-oriented, strong written and verbal communication, and understands responding with urgency.
  • Experience with evaluating, creating and managing Diversity and Inclusion recruiting strategies.
  • Able to take independent action to follow through on open items.
  • Ability to work independently with little direct supervision and to work in an ever-changing environment, with a work style focused on solving problems and driving results.
