Job Title : Recruiter
Reports to : Recruitment Director
Purpose
The Recruiter will assist the Recruitment Director in developing and achieving the recruitment goals and activities for the organization. Specifically, the Recruiter will handle the processing of all recruitment related administrative activities within the agreed timeline and providing excellent customer service.
Specific Responsibilities
Customer Service

Handle all recruitment related inquiries in a timely and customer responsive manner.

Provide excellent customer service to both applicants and client facilities by ensuring a positive experience in the recruitment process.

Handles all communication over the phone, face to face, emails, social media inquiries etc.

Ensures all information required is given to the applicant as well as all details pertaining to the opening is obtained from client.

Maintains close coordination with client on their needs and promote agency exposure through various activities.
- Manages all social media accounts to advertise all job openings and requirements.
Recruitment Administration

Ensure that candidates meet all pre-determined qualifications set forth by client as well as submit all documentation requirements.

Conducts reference checks and background checks on shortlisted applicants prior to submission to client.

Collects, screens and collates all documentation requirements from applicant. Ensures all documents meet the agency’s, client’s, Joint Commission and Department of Health’s standards.

Recruits for qualified candidates using various sources such as job web sites, referrals, data base and other means and screens them based on predetermined qualification criteria.

Assists in determining means and ways of securing qualified candidates for the job vacancies being recruited for. Recommends possible alternate sources for applicants.

Maintains a data base of applicant pool to act as resource for possible future job openings.

Assists in orienting new employees to the agency policies and procedures. Prepares all necessary documentation prior to deployment of facility.

Ensures all proper information pertinent to payroll is disseminated in a timely and concise manner.

Prepares necessary reports as requested by the Recruitment Director.

Maintains and enhances job placement ads on social media sites.

Propose and recommends recruitment activities that will help generate exposure to the agency and increase the number of applicant reach.
Retention and Compliance

Continually liaise with hired candidates to monitor their assignment as well as gather feedback from client regarding candidate performance.

Ensures that Candidates’ initial documents are in compliance with agency, client, Joint Commission and Department of Health standards prior to turn over to client and Staffing Coordinator.

Maintains close coordination with client contacts to generate possible job vacancies for recruitment.

Transfers all entries on the recruitment modules to the TSS modules prior to turn over to Staffing Coordinator.

Provides feedback to Recruitment Director regarding concerns/complaints and grievances brought up by the Nurse and Client Facility.

Propose and implement activities that will promote employee welfare and development.
