Pay: $24/hr
Hours: 8 am - 5 pm
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate technical requests for quotation documents.
- Acquire materials, supplies, and services, maintaining communication with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Provide cost analysis data for strategic decision making.
- Manage new model material readiness projects.
- Foster a "Development Partner" philosophy with suppliers.
- Implement Supplier Performance measures for quality, cost, and delivery improvements.
- Conduct market research and evaluate new technology options.
- Develop project resources and mobilization plans.
- Approve purchase orders in management's absence.
- AS/AA in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field, or 1+ years of relevant experience.
- BS in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related STEM discipline, or 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Previous project management or team leadership experience.
- Working knowledge of budgeting methods and financial controls.
- Ability to lead productive meetings and direct staff activities.
- Familiarity with exchange rate conversions and raw material indices.
