Role Description

We are looking for an ITS Business Development Manager to help us achieve our growth strategy by managing our distributor and DOT relationships This is a full-time hybrid role located in Houston, TX, with flexibility for some remote work. we will consider remote location for the right candidate. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, managing and signing up distributors and identifying potential clients. The successful candidate will work closely with the Houston Radar's team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field or proven industry experience.
  • Must have experience managing distributor relationships in the ITS/Traffic industry.
  • Experience in Business Development, Sales or Marketing, preferably in the transportation, safety, or traffic management industry
  • Solid understanding of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) industry and related technologies
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, and of developing and implementing innovative sales strategies to achieve business goals and drive revenue growth
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients at all levels in the industry
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Willingness to travel extensively, as required by the role
