Southwest Care Center is currently seeking a full-time Senior Financial Analyst. This is a hybrid remote position supporting the Santa Fe and Albuquerque clinics; therefore, must reside in the local market area of Albuquerque or Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Position Details:

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst plays a significant role in helping the organization execute accounting functions, ensure financial data integrity, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization. Through analysis and recommendations, this position helps direct and drive operational decisions and has considerable impact on financial timelines and project completion. This position is a key member of the Southwest Care Financial Team and will model professionalism, meet expected performance levels, and demonstrate the values of the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Work will be anticipatory and collaborative with relevant activities including, but are not limited to the following:

Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.

Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.

Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

Assists with external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors. ·

Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.

Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

Recommends ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue.

Analyzes financial statements for discrepancies and alert financial leadership, if necessary.

Assists with the development of the organization’s annual operating and capital expenditure budgets.

Supports annual program or grant budget preparation.

Assists with analyzing program or grant activities in comparison to budgets.

Candidate Highlights

Minimum three (3) years of experience in business, accounting, financial planning, analysis, and modeling. Five (5) plus years preferred.

Working knowledge of financial strategies.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment.
