To assist in production planning and procurement activities at USAntibiotics manufacturing facility. Ensure internal/external customer satisfaction and maintain inventory adherence to targets

ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in establishing production schedules, ensuring that all schedules are structured to maintain customer satisfaction while controlling finished good inventories to meet established inventory targets and achieving reductions in cycle times

Communicate and coordinate daily production activities with key Production, QA, and other site stakeholders to optimize production efficiency and schedule adherence

Assist in monitoring sales activities and forecasts to determine adjustments to planning activities

Maintain accurate manufacturing/packaging records and schedules

Monitor finished good inventory levels at distribution center to determine finished pack release and shipment prioritization for the site

May conduct Daily Production meetings and Weekly Production Scheduling Adherence meetings

Gain understanding of site raw materials, packaging components and finished products and develop ability to make recommendations to meet changing forecasts and sales requirements in a fast-paced environment

Utilize MRP to analyze requirements for raw materials and packaging materials

Create SAP Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders

Ensure inventory materials are received on time, in full at agreed price

Perform SAP data maintenance for Procurement and Production Planning Data Objects

Build and develop effective relationships with suppliers

Submit Rejection Notices for obsolete, damaged, and expired materials

Complete Material Disposition Forms for rejected materials and maintain executed disposition forms

Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments with Warehouse personnel

Work with Accounting and suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies as needed

Complete all required training (GMP, SAP, SOP Review, Safety, etc.) on a routine basis per SOPs

Ensure activities are carried out in line with cGMP regulations

Ability to use independent discretion and judgement for 75% of responsibilities

Responsible for analyzing and recommending improvements of financial impacts on the business

Other duties as needed or required.

QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain or equivalent education/work experience (Preferred). High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Three years Purchasing/Production Planning experience in manufacturing setting (Preferred)

Three years of SAP Procurement/Production Planning experience at an execution level (Preferred)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Teams

Understanding of SAP Master Data objects(Material Master, Procurement Data, MRP Data) and how they interact

Ability to analyze material requirements using SAP, reports, and forecast.

Ability to effectively communicate material requirements to both domestic and international suppliers

Able to read and understand supplier order confirmations

Ability to make accurate decisions and maintain flexibility while under pressure to address changing production requirements while maintaining professionalism

Excellent documentation skills required

Familiar with material specifications, COA's, COC's

Knowledgeable FDA, Customs material documentation requirements

Ability to read, comprehend and in erpret written procedures
