Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Professional to join our finance team at Clarence J. Venne, LLC. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable, payroll, financial closing procedures, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounts Payable Management: Administer the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing and payment disbursements.
  • Payroll Processing: Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and employee reimbursements.
  • Financial Analysis: Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Financial Reporting: Support the month-end and year-end financial close process, and assist in preparing financial statements and supporting schedules for internal financial reporting purposes.
  • Financial Planning: Assist in preparing annual budgets, including collaborating with department heads to gather necessary information.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Monitor and analyze budget performance, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: College or university degree in accounting.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting and payroll experience.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, tech savvy with proficiency using accounting software and MS Office applications, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
