Responsibilities:
- Address employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, providing timely and accurate information.
- Oversee and manage the employee leave of absence process, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Attend and actively participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations to ensure fair and consistent handling.
- Review and process monthly benefits billing promptly and accurately.
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to, compensation, benefits, leave administration, disciplinary matters and investigations, and employee recognition programs.
- Maintain accurate and efficient employee virtual files in the UKG system.
- Administer employee reviews in the UKG system, including tracking and reporting missed reviews.
- Assist the recruiting team with interviewing, pre-employment processing, onboarding, and orientations as needed.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices. Regularly review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelors degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred, but not required.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- PHR certification is preferred but not required.
