Regional Sales Manager – About the Job · Market the assigned area exploring new opportunities, maintaining a sales funnel of qualified prospects, to achieve sales goals. · Leverage existing accounts as assigned by the director, ensuring ongoing business, and exploring opportunities to grow within the location as well as nationally if applicable. · Represent the company at local professional and relevant trade association functions and become active within each. Attendance as well as opportunities or roles to serve within each. · Perform and ongoing market analysis - collect and report competitive market information to the Director. · Collaborate with the marketing team to create social media marketing material targeting your territory and highlighting our company’s competitive advantage. · Full usage of the company CRM. (Customer relations management) system. · Full compliance with company values, morals, and objectives. · Accompany others from the sales team to out of market events and expos. Minimum Job Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of related work experience. Best if in B2B in transportation. · Computer skills, learning our company ERP, CRM and experience with Microsoft Products · Good written and verbal communication skills as well as with presentations · Able to exercise discretion and independent judgement. · Positive metal attitude and team player. · Continuous learner – Role will require reading and attending training virtually and in person. · Self-Starter – Aggressive sales activity without being told or encouraged to.
