Cost Accountant

Great Cost Accountant role with one of the largest companies in the industry. They are needing someone who has cost accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Our client offers great benefits and a flexible work schedule. They are ready to interview and hire someone ASAP

Job Description:

+ Invoicing product to customer and reconciling revenue

+ Maintaining and updating material standard cost

+ Account reconciliations

+ Journal creation, supporting journals and posting

+ Strong analytical skills

+ Month-end closings and annual budgeting

+ Key role in testing SAP application changes

+ Providing and detailing account reconciliation and other activity

+ Answering audit questions in a timely and concise manner

+ Identifying process flows not working efficiently, and working to change process to improve flow

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar required

+ 2+ years of Cost accounting experience required

+ SAP experience highly preferred

+ Experience working in the manufacturing industry preferred
