This internship is designed to offer hands-on experience in the dynamic space of marketing within the pet treat industry, collaborating with seasoned professionals who are dedicated to nurturing talent and fostering creativity.

Responsibilities

Content Creation:
•Short form video - TikTok and Instagram Reels
•Photography: IG Stories and TikTok
•Graphic Design: Infographics and Promotional Graphics

Write/Edit Copy:
•LinkedIn Post
•Social Media Captions

Work closely with The Marketing Coordinator:
•Community management
•Aid in influencer marketing efforts
•Brainstorm and Implement content ideas
•Contribute to social media publishing and strategy

Find, plan, promote and attend various sponsored events in the KC area

Qualifications

•Must be an incoming junior or senior in college
•Pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications or similar
•Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideas
•Strong working knowledge of Canva
•Photography/Videography Skills
•Ability to edit short-form video content
•Exceptional attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of marketing materials
•Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and gather information from various stakeholders
•Must be able to work in a team environment
•Initiative-taking attitude with a desire to learn and grow within the marketing field
•This position is based in office
•Opportunity to turn into a full-time position
•Employee will be required to travel up to 10% for local events
