Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or Business Law or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in health care compliance or equivalent work experience demonstrating knowledge and understanding of the laws and regulations impacting the health care provider industry, specifically health care corporate compliance programs. Must possess detailed knowledge of Federal, State and local laws and regulations impacting health care corporate compliance programs. Certification in Healthcare Compliance (“CHC”) designation or willingness to obtain certification within two (2) years of hire. Additional Qualifications (nice to have) Possess and maintain licensure or certification in compliance, law, audit, privacy, healthcare, or other relevant field or area of study. Experience with government audits, inquiries, investigations, response, and mitigation. Master’s or professional degree in law, business, or health care preferred. Physical and Mental Requirements & Working Conditions Occasional clinical / patient facing work environment. Includes continuous work time indoors (subject to travel requirements) under temperature-controlled & well-lit conditions; may encounter occasional variable external environmental conditions. Includes occasional lifting, up to 30 pounds unassisted, occasional travel, frequent use of computer; Includes continuous sitting & may require occasional long periods of continued walking, standing, stooping, bending, pulling & pushing.
