Position Overview:

This role focuses on collaborating with software development teams to implement secure coding practices and build robust applications.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough assessments using Dynamic, Static, and Software Composition Analysis methodologies to identify security vulnerabilities.
2. Collaborate with front-end, back-end, and cloud-based application developers to instill secure coding standards.
3. Partner with distributed teams to enhance the security of systems through effective risk mitigation strategies.
4. Lead initiatives to implement security patterns and practices, utilizing orchestration and automation tools for secure configuration and compliance.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years focused on security guidance and secure coding practices.
- Proficiency in both compiled and interpreted programming languages, including Angular, React, Java, and .NET stacks.
- Strong background in networking, infrastructure, and secure application development, including DevSecOps methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in building and deploying secure distributed web and mobile applications.

Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with application security scanning tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, ASOC, Container/Cloud) is essential.
- Understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and the ability to articulate them effectively.
- Knowledge of API security, including JWT, OAUTH/OIDC/PKCE, and web/API replay attacks.
- Experience with cloud development platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Work Environment:
This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a combination of onsite and remote work. Candidates must be local and available for in-person collaboration as needed. The role is integral to maturing our organization's secure software development practices and ensuring continuous compliance.
