Job Details Job Location Sugar Land, TX Job Category Other Corporate Description POSITION OVERVIEW The Strategic Sales Leader manages support functions essential to the sales force productivity. These include planning, reporting, quota setting/management, sales process optimization, sales training, sales program implementation, recruiting and selection of sales force talent. The Strategic Sales Leader is responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the assigned market. While reporting to the Directors, the role will also work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are enabled and supported within the sales organization. The Strategic Sales Leader will work directly with store personnel within their market to achieve Company sales goals and KPI minimum requirements. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Work with Sales Director(s) to determine potential areas of opportunity for additional focus Identify low producing stores on a daily/weekly basis to be flexible and address issues to drive daily/weekly results in: Total Opportunities with a breakout of Gross Activations and Upgrades Qualitative Metrics Accessories per Opportunity Device Protection Rate Plan Mix Automatic Bill Pay Enrollment Multi-Line Take Rate Utilization of Labor My Cricket Application Utilization Help support plans for District Manager development Have daily calls with supported Sales Directors/District Managers to ensure consistent direction with discussions documented and sent as daily recaps which will be entered into Strategy Portal. Review past sales data to determine trends in productivity Prepare accurate reports using data from internal and external sources and send out daily to Sales Director(s) and District Manager(s) supported Present actionable information and insights to team members and senior management Gather and analyze data on all revenue generating metrics to help understand problems and address them proactively Create plans to help develop employees working side by side with training department and local field leadership acting as a conduit for all involved departments Marketing activities Validate social media posts and selling site posts, report findings to field management Ensure proper execution of Events Management Portal to validate minimum requirements are being met with outside events 2 events per month for Salaried Manager locations 1 event per month for Senior/Hourly Manager locations Attend weekly calls with Executives/Sales Director/District Manager and be prepared to: Take notes on conversation to document follow up items and send recap to all attendees and enter in portal Have store performance sheet created accurately prior to the call Store performance (YoY/MoM/Current) Correct employee trending Validate frequency of visits with clock-in compliance Assist with operational items escalated by leadership to usher a quick resolution and follow up Collaborate with team members and members of other departments ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES Responsible for the efficient allocation of support and training resources impacting the sales organization. Achievement of strategic objectives defined by company management. Market must achieve Sales goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) as determined by Mobilelink and Cricket Wireless. Must ensure that all stores and markets are staffed within budgeted hours and that overtime, leave and other pay factors are controlled within policy guidelines. Support development of bench strength for succession and hiring purposes. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor Degree preferred 5 years successful sales experience consistently meeting or exceeding targets 3 or more years of experience in Wireless Retail and/or Multi-Unit Proven professional history of driving and maintaining the sales process Strong Analytical Skills and Business Acumen Strong Organizational Skills with a Problem-Solving ability Strong Customer Service Skills Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills Excellent verbal and written communications skills
