The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

The Analyst's primary function is to support routine tasks for Global Markets Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), primarily covering the Global Markets and Corporate Functions expense management for MUFG Securities of Americas.

Responsibilities:
  • Expense management of actuals, budget, and forecast
  • Expense analysis on headcount walk, vendor spend, and trending
  • Performance center allocations of expenses between front office and back office groups
  • Consolidation efforts in Global Markets FP&A of Corporate Solutions and Institutional Investors financials
  • Management report generation of Global Markets and Corporate Functions financials for Americas
  • Coordinate management meetings with the business on the financial results
Qualifications:
  • Basic Accounting/Finance understanding
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Oracle Smart View and Hyperion Planning is a plus
  • Product knowledge not required but general understanding preferred
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent understanding of data management and quantitative reporting skills
  • Pragmatic, able to juggle conflicting and time sensitive requirements
  • Knowledge and intellectual curiosity in Global Markets business and regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, self-starter
  • Ability to build relationships with internal subject matter experts
  • Ability to effectively work in a collaborative team environment


The typical base pay range for this role is between $76K - $96K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
