The Team:

You will join our Investor Relations department, concentrating on our Surveillance and Targeting services. Our team operates globally, with locations in various major cities.

The Surveillance and Targeting sector is divided into ten specialized teams that focus on the North American market, alongside two regional teams in APAC and EMEA. Each team is led by experienced Directors who possess over a decade of expertise in the financial sector, supported by team members at all levels contributing to our collective success. Key Responsibilities:

As an Investor Relations Analyst, you will play a vital role in propelling the growth of a prominent Investor Relations surveillance services provider, making a significant impact on our business and corporate clientele.

We are seeking an Analyst within the Investor Relations division to:
  • Assist clients by providing insights into their institutional investors and the factors influencing equity market trading.
  • Deliver targeting intelligence on institutional investors to support clients' investor relations outreach initiatives.
  • Build and sustain relationships with the investor relations and executive teams of publicly traded firms.
  • Monitor public equity markets and inform clients about events impacting specific stocks, sectors, and the overall economy.
  • Identify key institutional buyers and sellers of clients' stocks, offering insights and context regarding market movements.
  • Engage with buy-side institutional portfolio managers and trading desks to gather insights on investment strategies and trading practices.
  • Contribute to the enhancement and expansion of the team's service offerings to clients.
Compensation and Benefits:

S&P Global indicates that the expected base salary range for this role is between $48,508.00 and $82,000. The final salary will be determined based on geographic location, experience, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. This position is also eligible for an annual incentive plan and additional benefits provided by S&P Global.

Qualifications:

Basic Required Qualifications:
  • 0-5 years of experience in finance or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and qualitative skills.
  • Effective communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Collaborative mindset suited for a dynamic and inclusive team environment.
  • Aptitude for data analysis and quick absorption of new information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated interest in and understanding of capital markets.
  • Ability to learn proprietary applications.

  • Comfortable in client-facing roles.
  • Resourceful and inquisitive.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with S&P Cap IQ Pro.
