Position Overview: Administers and maintains all phases of the community operations under the direction of the Regional Manager and/or VP.

The Area Manager will oversee the management and operating of multiple multifamily properties within a designated area. This role is crucial in ensuring the properties meet financial goals, maintain high occupancy rates, and provide excellent service to residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, with expertise in budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting, and experience with Yardi and AppFolio software.

What you will do (Key Responsibilities):

Property Oversight – Manage the daily operations of the assigned area, ensuring the team meets performance and financial targets. Financial Management – Manage and monitor the budget ensuring financial goals are met. Software Utilization – utilize Yardi and AppFolio for property management tasks, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance tracking, and financial reporting. Lease-Up and Renovations – Oversee lease-up activities to ensure timely occupancy of new units. Manage property renovations, ensuring projects are completed on time, and within the approved budget. Team Leadership -

Lead and mentor property management teams, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development. Resident Relations -

Maintain positive relationships with residents, addressing and resolving issues promptly and effectively. Ensure high levels of resident satisfaction and retention. Compliance and Reporting -

Ensure properties comply with all local, state, and federal regulations. Prepare and present regular reports on property performance, occupancy rates, and financial status. Qualifications:

Experience: - A minimum of five (5) years of residential or commercial property management experience is preferred. Proficient with relevant housing and employment laws. Software Proficiency - Proficient in Yardi and AppFolio Financial Acumen - Strong background in budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting Communication -

Excellent verbal and communication skills. Leadership Skills - Proven leadership and team management skills Transportation -

Must have a reliable vehicle to perform various management tasks. Must have proof of liability insurance for same.

Valid driver’s license in good standing, reliable transportation, and proper auto insurance coverage required. Education - Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred bachelor’s degree in business administration, Real Estate, or a related field. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

This position requires a high degree of walking and climbing steps. Must be able to lift-up to 25-30 lbs. regularly. Schedule

Full-time, Monday-Friday, the potential for rotating weekend schedule required, OT as needed to support business needs.
