Safely load and unload products into/from delivery vehicles utilizing various methods like liftgates, carts, hand trucks, or pallet jacks. Operate commercial vehicles with professionalism, conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and demonstrating adaptability in congested areas with limited space and obstacles. Execute instructions proficiently and utilize technology to manage inventory on the truck, check in products at retailers, and ensure balanced inventory at the end of each shift. Use barcode scanners to verify delivered products and handle returned items as required. Actively stock retailer shelves during deliveries to mitigate or prevent out-of-stock situations. Maintain consistent communication with Distribution and Operations Managers to manage and accommodate any necessary schedule changes for deliveries or pickups. Adhere strictly to local, state, and federal laws and company policies while ensuring all necessary administrative tasks are completed promptly. Key Skills and Experience Required A candidate must be 21 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements. Must be able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. 6 months related experience. Available and flexible to work any shift needed. Forklift certified. Ability to operate manual/powered pallet jack. Must successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR). Must be DOT compliant or attain DOT compliance prior to starting work.
