Senior Accountant Requirements:

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes
  • Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audits and prepare necessary documentation
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing variance analysis
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions
  • Manage payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions as needed
  • Support the implementation of new accounting systems or processes
  • Mentor and guide junior accounting staff
