We are a national employer whose mission is to provide economic opportunities and progressive growth for small business owners and their underserved communities as a source of financing and financial education.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Spread and analyze financial statements.
Prepare break-even analysis.
Review projections and assumptions for reasonableness.
Set up covenant monitoring, input periodic results, review company’s performance to covenants and to plan.
Back up credit executives in all operational duties relating to assigned accounts.
Assist in the underwriting and risk identification of credit transactions. Perform preliminary financial analysis.
Conduct research regarding borrower’s industry, competition, and peer group.
Prepare assigned sections of credit recommendation memo.
Assist in the preparation of annual credit reviews.
Prepare basic renewals and administrative actions.
Initiate loan documentation and resolve documentation deficiencies.
Act as a liaison to other departments on behalf of clients.
PROFICIENCIES
Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
Requires analytical and reasoning skills and math aptitude.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in accounting or finance or equivalent job experience.
Experience working in a centralized credit center preferred.
Experience with spreading programs, such as Moody’s, preferred.
Experience with Small Business Administration and State Guaranteed lending preferred.
Knowledge of cash flow, intermediate accounting, credit analysis and documentation.
SALARY
$28.00 - $36.00/Hourly, depending upon experience and location.
