The Senior Director, Strategic Events will work with the Vice President, Strategic Events in planning and executing CoreNet Global’s Strategic Events. Responsibilities include implementation of global events with a focus on event strategy, attendee experience and collaborative planning to achieve quantifiable results.

Duties:

- Plan, organize, and execute a wide range of events including corporate meetings, fundraisers, weddings, and social gatherings - Negotiate contracts with vendors, caterers, and other event professionals - Market events to attract attendees and sponsors - Manage event budgets and ensure financial goals are met - Coordinate all aspects of event logistics including setup, breakdown, and staffing - Provide exceptional guest services to ensure a positive experience for all attendees - Oversee catering arrangements and menu selections

Skills:

- Proven experience in event planning and management within the hospitality industry - Strong negotiation skills for securing contracts with vendors and suppliers - Excellent time management abilities to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Knowledge of fundraising strategies for events that require sponsorship or donations - Ability to deliver high-quality events while staying within budget constraints
