Company Overview: Leading CPA firm is seeking an International Tax Manager to join its team of professionals. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage international tax compliance and consulting engagements, including preparation and review of complex international tax returns.
  • Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services related to international tax matters, including foreign tax credits, Subpart F, GILTI, BEAT, PFIC, and transfer pricing.
  • Advise clients on the impact of new international tax laws and regulations, including tax treaty analysis and cross-border transactions.
  • Oversee the preparation of tax provisions and reporting for U.S. and foreign subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with U.S. and international tax requirements.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients on international tax issues, managing relationships and delivering exceptional client service.
  • Represent clients during international tax audits and examinations, liaising with tax authorities as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including domestic tax and accounting teams, to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to clients' needs.
  • Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing training, guidance, and support in their professional development.
  • Contribute to business development efforts by identifying opportunities for additional services and participating in client proposals and presentations.
  • Stay current on international tax trends, legislative changes, and emerging issues to provide proactive advice to clients.
Requirements
  • 6-10 years of experience in public accounting or a combination of public accounting and industry experience, with a focus on international tax.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. international tax regulations, including Subpart F, GILTI, BEAT, foreign tax credits, PFIC rules, and transfer pricing.
  • Proven ability to manage complex international tax engagements and deliver high-quality service to clients.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; Master's degree in Taxation or LLM preferred.
  • CPA license required; JD or MST highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising and developing tax staff.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with multinational clients across a variety of industries.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with international financial reporting standards and foreign tax compliance.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
