  • Engages proactively in client discussions and tax strategy initiatives to support the Auditing and Accounting Division with major clients.
  • Serves as a knowledgeable resource for tax preparers and A&A personnel regarding specific tax matters and inquiries.
  • Handles tax preparation duties for intricate business returns.
  • Manages client service obligations for clients directly associated with the Tax Manager or those delegated by the Partner.
  • Informs relevant firm staff about significant tax developments impacting the firm's clientele.
  • Oversees and directs governmental tax audits; may represent clients before relevant tax authorities.
  • Ensures the efficient processing of tax returns through the preparation system to guarantee accurate, complete, and timely submission of all clients' tax documents.
  • Maintains adherence to precise and prompt billing and collection procedures.
  • Contributes to the firm's growth initiatives through active participation in networking, community engagement, and industry events.
Supervisory Duties:
  • Accountable for the development, mentoring, and training of Supervising Seniors, Seniors, Semi-seniors, and Staff Accountants.
  • Must be knowledgeable about the qualifications of all Tax Department personnel to effectively address their training requirements.
  • Participates in the assessment and evaluation processes of the Tax Department.
