As the Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our organization. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, you will contribute to managing the company's financial accounting and reporting activities. Primary Responsibilities: Lead the day-to-day operations of the accounting and financial reporting team in collaboration with the Assistant Controller and Controller. Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance the accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of the team's work. Collaborate with the Assistant Controller to oversee the monthly close process, ensuring timely recording of transactions and the accuracy of financial statements. Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement improvements to expedite close timelines. Support all aspects of internal and external audit financial preparation, ensuring compliance with GAAP, GL structure, and robust accounting record-keeping systems. Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial reports, conducting flux analyses and account reconciliations. Research accounting issues and document conclusions in technical GAAP accounting memos. Implement and uphold effective internal controls and safeguards over company assets. Understand and integrate automated systems to streamline accounting objectives. Experience and Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. More than 4 years of experience in external auditing, preferably in public accounting, with a commitment to diversity and inclusion. Holds an active CPA license. Familiarity with NetSuite is advantageous. Proficient understanding of intercompany eliminations and consolidation accounting. Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to build and foster diverse teams, capable of overseeing up to 5 individuals directly.
