REQUIREMENTS:

Experience : 8-10+ years of experience handling Employee Relations – Investigations, claims, and coaching managers, consulting with managers surrounding growth and development of the team and Employee Relations issues Extensive Knowledge of Labor Laws

Nice to have, not required: Workday SPHR or PHR certifications Experience building out handbooks and policies and procedures Heavy auditing experience (Payroll audits and HR related audits)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Regularly provide advice, coaching, and counseling to employees and management Leverage internal relationships and knowledge of the business and its needs to create and drive HR strategies that align with organizational objectives Serve as a proactive thought partner to leadership, anticipating business needs and leveraging business data, metrics, external market insights, and research to support informed decision-making Coaches the business’s departmental heads and management in performance management processes, compensation and remuneration programs, recruitment practices, and management decision-making. Partners with management and leadership in resolving employee relation issues, conducting effective investigations and recommending action for sensitive and complex situations. Collaborates with the business’s departmental heads and management in identifying training needs, advocating for continuous learning for employees where necessary, and providing coaching and mentoring support where required. Researches, analyzes and reports on trends related to Human Resources in the business and uses these findings to develop strategies and solutions to issues that affect the business’s operations. Develops and delivers varied projects throughout the business, actively participating in project teams, and implementing initiatives while simultaneously ensuring proper communication and collaboration within business departments and with business partners. Reports on all people metrics as necessary, for example, turnover. Maintains a clear and detailed knowledge of trends, best practices, and labor legislation. This ensures the attraction and retention of valuable employees by following efficient people management practices within the business leading to better employee engagement. Strives to monitor existing labor policies and procedures in the business, constantly ensuring alignment with the business’s values and the external legislation. Performs other duties as assigned.
